Malaysian police record biggest syabu seizure
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Malaysian police recorded the biggest seizure of methamphetamine, also known as syabu, in over a decade with 36 kilograms of the drug worth nine million ringgit ( some 265,000 U.S. dollars) seized.

They were believed to be paid 8,000 Singaporean dollars (some 5, 700 U.S. dollars) by the drug syndicate upon arrival in Manila, Muhammad Sabtu added.
He also pointed out that the arrested man from Kuala Lumpur, 33, was the coordinator responsible for making accommodation and transport arrangements for the Singaporeans.
